As the year winds down and the holiday craziness winds up, let's take a moment for ourselves to stop, relax & unwind and indulge in some self-care (because you deserve it!).
Join us for our first official Girls' Night Out - Holiday Edition!
We will begin the night with a relaxing yoga class, giving us a chance to take a deep breath and stretch out the stress.
This will be followed by some more self-care activities:
- mini massages provided by our RMT, Molly
- mini facials from the lovely ladies at Clean Slate Skin Bar
- a relaxing art activity led by local artist
- snacks & refreshments to keep us nourished

Baby & Me Yoga
Baby & Me Yoga is a supportive class for new parents and their babies. Connect with your body, breath and little one while creating a community with other new parents. This yoga series is a re-introduction to yoga and movement with your little one as you Discover your body, mind and heart through the postpartum season. Expect to deepen your breath, strengthen and open your physical body, and discover a practice that will deepen acceptance of the transition into parenthood.
This class is targeted to pre-crawling babes but all are welcome in the space.
Schedule: Tuesdays 10am or 12pm, 4 weeks starting Nov. 28

Bump to Birth: Prenatal Fitness
Join our low-intensity classes designed to nurture your body during pregnancy and prepare you for labour, delivery, and the postpartum period.
This 4-week program encompasses:
Core stability exercises
Pregnancy-safe strength training
Pelvic floor strengthening
Pelvic floor relaxation and lengthening
Mobility and stretching
Our classes cater to all stages of pregnancy, with modifications provided to ensure the health and safety of both you and your baby.

Navigating Post-Partum Bliss & Challenges
Empower yourself on your postpartum journey with our 4 session workshop tailored for postpartum parents, guided by our compassionate registered clinical counsellor, Chloe Stevens. Parenthood is a beautiful yet challenging adventure, and this workshop offers a unique opportunity to navigate its ups and downs with support.
Chloe will provide valuable insights, coping strategies, and a safe space for open discussions on the emotional and psychological aspects of postpartum life.
Whether you're dealing with postpartum depression, anxiety, or simply seeking guidance in this transformative period, this workshop is a nurturing environment where you can find understanding, tools, and the encouragement you need to thrive as new parents. Join us and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing as you navigate the world of parenthood, together.
Workshop Weekly Schedule Week 1: "Self-Care & Stress Management" - Discover effective self-care strategies, learn when and how to seek help, practice self-compassion, and find solace in normalizing and validating your experiences as a new parent. Week 2: "Understanding Postpartum Mental Health" - Explore the intricacies of postpartum depression and anxiety, including mood challenges, coping with intrusive thoughts, and explore treatment options for a brighter postpartum journey. Week 3: "Rediscovering Your Identity" - Navigate the complex terrain of returning to work, adapting to parenthood, processing any disappointments from your birth experience, strengthening bonds with your baby, and building a supportive circle of allies. Week 4: "Building Stronger Relationships" - Debunk myths surrounding expected parental roles, address the often-overlooked topic of dads experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety, learn how partners can successfully return to work, and discover resources for rebuilding intimacy and fostering healthy relationships as parents.

InFormed About Substance Use
Join us in our workshop designed to shed light on the complexities of substance use within our community. Whether you're directly impacted by substance use in your family or seeking to understand the effects of your own substance use, these sessions offer a safe and open environment to explore this topic.
Through engaging and thought-provoking discussions, we aim to break down the stigma surrounding substance use, fostering curiosity and open dialogue. With over two decades of experience in the mental health and substance use field, our facilitator Rick Dubras brings a wealth of knowledge to help all ages gain insights into their relationship with substances.

This workshop series is targeted towards those who are dealing with substance use directly or indirectly, but all are welcome.
